Black PU leather over a Tehillim of 381 pages at 4 by 5.5 inches. The typesetting is the thing to notice here: the lettering is large and clean, which is what you want in a Tehillim that gets said quickly, in poor light, or by someone whose eyes are not what they were. A table of contents at the front lists the perakim so you can find a kapitel without counting.

It is not only Tehillim. Perek Shira and Shir HaShirim are included, along with birchas hamazon and Al Hamichya at the back, so the sefer covers the things you would otherwise be reaching for a second booklet to find. That makes it a reasonable single sefer to keep in a bag.

Black is the version people buy when the Tehillim is going to be used hard — taken to a hospital, kept in a car, carried to a levaya — because a PU cover in black does not show what it has been through.
