Super Velvet Chassidish Kappel, Six Part, Sizes 6 to 7 3/4

A chassidish kappel built in six parts and cut from super velvet, the heavier, denser velvet that holds a deep flat black without going shiny at the seams. Six-part construction is what gives the kappel its shape — the panels meet at the crown and the piece sits round rather than collapsing, which is the difference between a kappel that still looks right after a year and one that does not.

The size range is the point of this listing. Thirteen sizes are offered, from size 1 at 6 through to size 13 at 8, stepping through 6 1/4, 6 3/8, 6 1/2, 6 5/8, 6 3/4, 6 7/8, 7, 7 1/8, 7 1/4, 7 1/2 and 7 3/4.
