Wool Tzitzis, Adult Slit Neck 2-Hole with Fringes

Single fringes on a 100% wool beged, slit neck, two holes per corner. The fringed hem is a finish rather than a flourish: it lies flat, it keeps the edge from looking raw, and it is the version to take if you want a wool beged that looks properly made without the extra weight of the double-fringe treatment.

Adult sizes 18 to 28. Thin avodas yad is the standard hand-tied string; thick avodas yad is fuller at the corner and hangs lower; bli sends it without strings for anyone who supplies his own. The slit neck opens at the front, which is what most wool wearers ask for.

What you are paying for with wool is the wear. It sits on the shoulders instead of clinging, it is warm from Sukkos through Pesach, and it is the fabric most men mean when they talk about a good beged. Two holes at the corner is the older Ashkenazishe practice and the one many families hold by. If you are moving from cotton to wool for the first time, this is a straightforward place to start.
