Description
Camel antique leather with a fur panel set into it, in the #1547 design. The pairing is the reason to pick this one: the leather is pale and warm, the fur is deep and soft, and the contrast between them is much stronger than it is on the darker colourways of the same number. Cut to a 5x7 siddur.
Tefillah BeKavanah comes as L'Chol or HaShulem. L'Chol is the weekday text alone — thinner, easier to carry, the standard choice when the siddur travels with tefillin every morning. HaShulem includes Shabbos, so Friday night and Shabbos davening sit in the same volume and nothing has to be swapped out. The size is unchanged either way.
Fur and leather together make this one of the pieces bought as a gift rather than for oneself — a chosson, a father, a rebbi. Design #1547 also exists as a machzor cover, a haggadah cover and a zemiros booklet, and giving two matched pieces from the number is a real step up from giving one.
