Cotton Tzitzis for Kids, Round Neck 2-Hole Slanted Chabad

The Chabad beged in boys sizes, cut from 100% cotton with a round neck and the slanted two-hole corner. Same construction as the adult version, scaled down: the slant at the corner is what keshiras Chabad requires, and it is there on the small sizes exactly as it is on the large ones, so a boy's first pair is tied the way his father's is.

Sizes 2 through 7, with meyuchad strings on. Machine-tied strings are the right call for a child — they are even, they hold up to being pulled at and swung around, and they cost little enough that a beged outgrown or ruined inside a year is not a loss. Size 2 and 3 are upsherin sizes, the first pair a boy wears; by 6 and 7 he is dressing himself and the beged is going in the wash twice a week.

Cotton is the fabric to put against a child's skin. It does not itch under a shirt and it comes clean without special handling. Order two in the size he is in now — one is never enough with a boy this age.
