Crystal Crown Velvet Challah Cover with Swarovski Detail #178

Against velvet the crystals are the only reflective element on the face, so they carry further than they do on a brocade ground where the weave is already catching light of its own.

Choose the thread — silver or gold — and then the size, from small at 14.5 by 17.5 through medium at 15.5 by 19.5 to large at 19.5 by 23.5. Velvet has more drape than brocade, so a large cover here falls over the edges of a board softly rather than sitting square on it. Most families take the medium for weekly use.
