Description
Satin and crushed velvet brought together in the Majestic pattern, worked without stones. The whole effect rests on the fabrics: the satin catches light flat and even, the crushed velvet breaks it up, and the seam between them gives the cover its structure. Next to the Swarovski version of the same design, this one reads calmer and cleaner, and some tables want exactly that.
It comes small at 15x17.5 and large at 19.5x23.5. Small is the everyday Shabbos size for a pair of challos; large drapes over a full board and is the one to take for Yom Tov or a table that regularly seats company. The design is identical in both — only the field changes.
Because there is no stonework, this is an easy cover to hand to a young couple setting up a first home, or to keep as a second cover for weeks when you would rather not fuss over crystals. The fabric combination is the upscale part; leaving the stones off is a choice here, not a compromise.
