Rich needlework covers the front of #2061, worked heavily enough that the face has depth to it rather than sitting flat. This is the fuller end of Malchut's embroidered work, closer to the dense designs in the range than to the sparse ones, and it holds its shape and its look under regular use.
The bag is offered at 10.5 by 10 inches for a bar mitzvah bochur, 14 by 14 for a standard tallis, and 16 by 16 for a large one. Heavier stitching means the larger cuts carry noticeably more work than the small, so if you are comparing the sizes side by side, expect them to feel like different objects.
For a chosson or for a man marking a milestone, a densely worked bag is the traditional way to make the purchase feel like the occasion, and this design is one of the better executions of it.
