Embroidery is the entire design on #4016 — no fur panel, no contrast leather, just stitching worked across the front of the bag by Malchut Judaica. That makes it one of the more conservative pieces in the custom range, and it is the kind of bag that does not date. It is made after the order is placed rather than pulled from a fixed run.

The only choice is the size, and it is a real one. A bar mitzvah bag at 10.5 by 10 inches fits a boy who is carrying tefillin and, at most, a small tallis. The large talis bag at 14 by 14 is the standard adult size, holding a folded tallis and both tefillin. Extra large at 16 by 16 gives you slack — useful for a heavy wool tallis, and useful for a man who does not want to compress anything to get the zipper closed.
