Description
Green is the least expected of the three colours this modern Malchut cover comes in, and the one that ages best on a shelf next to older seforim. The design itself is spare — a flat, uninterrupted cover with a magnetic closure holding the front down, no embroidery, no trim.
Choose the nusach when you order: Ashkenaz, Sefard or Eduth Mizrach are all made in this cover. Beyond that there is nothing to configure, which is part of the appeal. The magnet does the work a zipper or an elastic band would otherwise do, keeping the siddur shut and the pages flat while it is being carried, and it does not wear out or catch on anything.
This is a daily siddur rather than a display piece. It suits someone who wants his sefer to look like it belongs to this decade, and the brown and green options in the same series make it easy to give one and keep one without duplicating. For a boy starting to daven with a proper siddur of his own, the green is a good middle ground.
