White brocade and ivory crushed velvet worked into a scalloped design, set with Swarovski crystal elements. The scallops run along the edge of the velvet where it meets the brocade, so the join between the two fabrics becomes the pattern rather than a straight seam. It is a rich cover, heavy in both material and design, and it does not need anything else on the table to hold attention.
The choice here is unusual. The large at 19.5x23.5 is finished with an elegant trimming around the edge, which is what separates this from the plain scalloped version; the small is made without the trimming.
