Description
A shelf of seforim, candlesticks and a flower design embroidered across brocade, touched with crystal accents. It is a narrative cover rather than an abstract one — the objects are recognizable, and the arrangement reads as a Shabbos table and a bookshelf at once. The brocade ground carries its own woven pattern behind the embroidery, which keeps the open areas from looking blank.
Sizes run large at 19.5x23.5, small at 14.5x17.5 and medium at 15.5x19.5. Because the design is pictorial, the larger sizes show it best — the candlesticks and the spines of the seforim get room to be read. The small still carries the whole scene, just at a tighter scale.
