Description
A square booklet, 4.5 by 4.5 inches, with a silver embossed cover — the square format is unusual and it is what makes this one look deliberate rather than generic sitting beside the licht. Thirty-two pages, paperback.
The contents go past the brachos themselves. Tefillas Chana is included, along with the tefillah for good children and the tefillah for parnassah — the tefillos a woman says at candle lighting when the moment is hers and there is no rush. That is what makes this a booklet women use every week rather than one they consult once.
It is bought in quantity for a Shabbaton, a women's event or a family get-together where guests are lighting away from home, and the square shape means it sits well on a table of set candlesticks. Design #185 also runs on Malchut's tallis and tefillin bags. Nothing to choose beyond how many you need — this one is printed in a single version.
