Linen Look Challah Cover with Framed Embroidery #990

Framed embroidery on linen-look fabric, lifted with sterling crystals. On 990 the frame is heavier than on the other linen numbers and the work inside it is denser, which puts this design at the more substantial end of the linen range without leaving the restraint of the material behind. The fabric keeps its matte, textured surface, so even the fuller embroidery stays quiet rather than glittering.

Three cuts: 19.5 by 23.5 large, 15.5 by 19.5 medium, 14.5 by 17.5 small. Denser work reads best with space around it — the large cut lets the frame sit properly clear of the edges, while the small brings everything in close. If the cover is going over a board, size up from what the challos alone would need.

The 990 design carries across Malchut's challah boards, haggadah covers, matzah covers and tallis and tefillin bags. Because the number stays in production, a cover bought now can be matched to a board or a matzah cover later without hunting for a discontinued pattern.
