Description
The Solitaire design on a linen-look fabric — flat, matte, lightly textured, with the embroidery and sterling crystals reading cleanly against it. Linen-look is the plainest ground in this collection, and it changes the character of the design entirely: what feels formal on velvet or leather feels relaxed here, closer to a well-set weekday table than a Yom Tov one.
Three sizes are made: large at 19.5x23.5, medium at 15.5x19.5 and small at 14.5x17.5. A flat fabric shows its dimensions honestly, so take a moment with a tape measure before ordering. Most families land on the medium; the large is right if the board runs long or you want a deep drape over the ends.
A challah board matches #686. Linen-look with the board makes an easy first set for a young couple, and it is one of the few designs in this line that sits comfortably on a table with plain white dishes and no silver at all.
