Description
Linen-look fabric carrying embroidery and sterling crystals, in Malchut's 692 design. The fabric gives the appearance and hand of linen with more body behind it, so the cover lies flatter on the table and creases less between one Shabbos and the next. The embroidery is worked into that neutral ground with the crystals set through it, and because there is no competing pattern in the weave, the stitchwork is the only thing on the face.
The three cuts are 19.5 by 23.5, 15.5 by 19.5 and 14.5 by 17.5. This is a heavier piece than the plainer linen numbers, and it sits at the upper end of the range for a reason — there is more work on it. On a large cut that work has room to be seen properly.
A matching challah board is cut in the same 692 design. Buying the pair is the usual route with this number, since a substantial cover on a plain board tends to look unfinished next to a board that answers it.
