Description
A marble ground with a single gold accent strip running down the cover. It is the most restrained of the marble-faced booklets, since the gold here is one clean line rather than a full border or a patterned sidebar. The booklet is paperback and measures 4.25 by 6.25 inches, the standard upright format across this range.
Ashkenaz or Eduth Mizrach, chosen at the time of ordering. The booklet carries the table from hadlakas neiros through kiddush and the Friday night zemiros to the zemiros for motzei Shabbos, so it serves both seudos and does not run out on you at bentching.
Marble and gold is the default choice because it goes with everything. It does not fight a white cloth, a wood table or a setting laid in silver, and it looks the same at a family table on an ordinary Friday night as it does at a kiddush. This is a booklet bought in quantity for a chasunah, and it seats correctly in a zemiros holder if you would rather keep a set standing at the head of the table than stacked flat.
