Description
A two-tone diamond sits centred on a beige cover, one shape placed dead centre with nothing else on the face at all. The booklet measures 4.5 by 5.5 inches, which falls between the square and the tall formats: a little wider than a standard upright booklet and a little taller than a square one, and it sits well in the hand because of it.
It is printed meshulav, meaning Ashkenaz and Edut Mizrach are set together in the same booklet, so there is no nusach to select and no chance of handing somebody the wrong version at a table with mixed guests. That is the practical reason meshulav booklets get bought for halls and for kiddushes where the guest list is not known in advance.
Design #173 also runs as a siddur cover and as a tallis and tefillin bag, which is unusual for a paper booklet. The same diamond on this cover can be embroidered onto the bag a bochur carries to shul.
