Description
A marble cover on a booklet measuring 6.25 by 4.25 inches, the compact upright format, small enough to sit in front of a plate without crowding it. The marbling is the neutral kind that goes with a white cloth or a bare wood table without ever being the thing anyone comments on.
It is offered in Edut Mizrach as well as Ashkenaz, which is worth flagging on a booklet this small. A table that needs both can order from the same design, and the two versions are identical from the outside, so nobody is singled out by whichever booklet happens to be in front of him. Choose the nusach at the time of ordering.
Design #302 is also made as a bencher cover, so the booklet on the table and the bencher handed out at a simcha can be run in the same face. That sounds like a small thing until you see forty of them laid out down a table, at which point it is the difference between a table that was set and a table that was merely filled.
