Description
Peach and silver on a matte laminate cover, square, 4.5 by 4.5 inches, 64 pages. The laminate is matte rather than gloss, so the colour stays soft under candlelight instead of throwing a shine back across the table, and peach is about as gentle as this range goes.
Ashkenaz or Eduth Mizrach, and nothing else to decide. The booklet holds kiddush and the zemiros for Friday night and Shabbos day, seder havdalah, birchas hamazon, sheva brachos and al hamichya. The sheva brachos section is the reason this colour in particular gets ordered by the box rather than one at a time.
Peach is a kallah's colour and everybody at the table knows it. A sheva brachos, a kiddush after a bas mitzvah, a Shabbos sheva brachos where the room is set in blush and cream: the booklet belongs at each place and looks like it was chosen for the room. The same design is made in white and in dark grey if the setting calls for something cooler.
