Description
Design #361 gathers the pieces of candle lighting into one lucite stand: a slot for tzedakah and a place for the matchbox, in crystal-clear acrylic with metallic accents in gold or silver. It stands next to the leichter rather than replacing anything, and because the body is clear it does not read as a second object cluttering the surface.
Choosing between gold and silver is a matter of what the leichter already are — matching the metal is what makes a candle-lighting table look composed rather than accumulated over a few years. Both finishes sit on the same clear body, so the accent is a line rather than a mass.
What the stand really does is fix the routine in place. The matches are where they belong, the tzedakah goes in before the bracha instead of being remembered on Sunday, and nothing has to be hunted for at the last minute on a Friday afternoon that is always shorter than expected.
