Description
A swirling embroidered pattern running around the word Shabbos at the center, on brocade, closed off with a rope trimming around the edge. The swirl is one of the most requested designs in this catalog and it is easy to see why — it fills the field without any hard geometry, and the rope trim finishes the perimeter so the cover has a defined edge rather than a plain hem.
Two choices to make. The thread comes in silver or gold, which changes the whole temperature of the cover against brocade; the size runs small at 14.5x17.5, medium at 15.5x19.5 and large at 19.5x23.5. Match the thread to your candlesticks and the size to your board and it is a straightforward decision.
The 230 design is also made as a bencher cover, a challah board and a tallis and tefillin bag. If sparkle is what you are after, the same swirl is produced with an abundance of Swarovski crystals worked into it — the same pattern, considerably more light.
