Atarah

An atarah is the decorative band sewn along the neck edge of a tallis. This collection has sterling silver atarahs in square, square combo, pyramid and Star of David styles, woven geflochten bands in silver and gold, and embroidered gifluchten bands in silver on white. Embroidered options are listed in sizes from 3.5 to 5.5, and the traditional bands shown here are listed at 38 inches long. Most come from Mefoar Judaica, with others from A&M Judaica and Malchut Judaica.
