What can be embroidered?
Most Prestige pieces take embroidery — tallis and tefillin bags, challah covers, siddur and chumash covers. Typically a name, and often a date or a short dedication. Send us the exact wording and we will confirm what fits the piece before anything is stitched.

Is there a minimum order for personalisation?
No minimum. A single bag with a single name is a normal order.

How long does embroidery take?
Allow 10 to 14 days for the embroidery itself, plus shipping time on top if it is not being collected in store. If you are working to a bar mitzvah or wedding date, tell us the date when you order and we will confirm whether it is achievable before starting.

Can I return a personalised item?
No — personalised and custom-made items are excluded from the 15-day return policy, which is standard for embroidered goods. This is exactly why we confirm spelling, wording and placement with you in writing first. Non-personalised Prestige items follow the normal return policy.

What is a peroches and a torah mantel?
A peroches is the curtain that hangs in front of the aron kodesh; a mantel is the cover that dresses the sefer Torah itself. Both are usually commissioned for a shul, or donated in memory of someone, and both are made to order rather than bought off a shelf.

Can I see the materials before ordering?
Yes, and for a made-to-order piece we recommend it. Both Lakewood locations can show you leather grades, fabric and thread colours side by side — 1105 East County Line Road and 1328 River Avenue.
