Two problems with lighting wax candles in a good candelabra: the candle leans, and the wax gets everywhere. This holder solves both. A metal spike stands in the center of the dish — press the base of the candle down onto it and the candle is locked upright instead of wobbling in an oversized cup.
The surrounding dish does the second job, catching drips as they run down so the wax lands on inexpensive metal rather than on the silver or brass underneath. When it cools, the wax lifts off the holder and your candelabra never needed cleaning at all.
