8-Hour European Shabbos Candles, 30-Pack
These are European made and noticeably whiter than the standard box, and the reason people rebuy them is smoke, or rather the lack of it. A Shabbos table should not smell like a snuffed wick halfway through the fish course, and these burn clean enough that the room stays the way you set it.
Each candle runs about eight hours, so licht bentched before shkiah are still going well past the seudah, and the light is there for anyone who comes back to the table late.
Thirty candles to a box works out to roughly two weeks for a two-candle home, or one Shabbos for a household lighting for every child.
