Description
An unbreakable aluminum washing cup, 13.5 cm, finished in ivory with a soft pearly sheen and a raised swirl pattern. Two looped handles make it easy to pass from hand to hand, and the lower band is left silver-tone. A washing cup is used for netilat yadayim, the ritual hand washing on waking and before eating bread. Water is poured from the cup over each hand in turn, usually two or three times per hand depending on family custom.
A light, neutral cup for a bathroom, kitchen or Shabbos washing station.
