Machzor Set in Antique Blue Leather, Kaftor for Kallahs #1567

Antique blue leather binds this Kaftor set of machzorim on the #1567 design, made for a kallah. Blue is the choice for a kallah who does not want the browns and bronzes everyone else is carrying — it is deep rather than bright, and the antique treatment keeps the surface uneven enough that it reads as leather from across the ezras noshim rather than as a colored cover.

This is a chosson's gift, given before the first Yomim Noraim after the chasunah, and it is meant to be the set she still uses when her own children are old enough to sit next to her.
