Description
Antique grey leather on the #1547 frame, made up as a Kaftor kallah machzorim set. Grey is the cool tone in a collection that is otherwise built on browns, bronzes and camels, and it is chosen by a kallah whose taste runs modern — it pairs with silver rather than gold, and it does not carry the warm, traditional cast the rest of the range does.
The antique treatment matters more on grey than on any other color here. Flat grey leather would read as cold; the aged finish puts depth and variation into it so it looks like leather rather than like a coated surface. In shul on Rosh Hashanah it is distinctive without being bright.
