Antique Tree of Life Menorah in Silver
The same branching tree, finished in antique silver instead of gold. Eight arms rise out of one trunk and settle into an even line, with the shamash raised above them, and the darkened recesses in the finish pick out the leaf and bark detail in the casting.
Aluminum is the reason this menorah is easier to live with than it looks. A tree-form menorah in solid brass would be a two-handed proposition; this one you can lift, carry, and reposition on a windowsill without recruiting help, and it cleans up with warm water and a soft cloth once the last night is over.
Silver suits a table set with a white cloth and standard candlesticks, and it holds its own next to a set of sterling. Ner Mitzvah makes the identical form in antique gold if you would rather go warm.
