Grey and black mussel shell fills this Chai-shaped pendant, the Hebrew word for life, set in a thin sterling silver edge.
Designer Barbara Matzner directs the Balinese craftsmen who make it by hand. It measures 1/2 by 1/2 inch with a 1/4-inch bale and hangs from a 16-inch medium box sterling silver chain; 18 and 20-inch chains are available.
