Description
Everything a family needs to understand about a bris, compiled from talmudic and traditional sources by a leading mohel and issued here in a softcover edition.
Alongside the explanations and background there are practical sections: a run of answers to the questions that surround naming a child, the laws that apply in cases of adoption, the medical circumstances that call for postponement, and what changes when the bris falls on Shabbos or a Festival. The ritual and its prayers appear in full, translated and annotated.
Paperback, 192 pages, 6 by 9 inches. ArtScroll Mesorah Publications, 1985.
