Description
The Kleinman Edition Midrash Rabbah covers all of Midrash Rabbah, on the entire Chumash and the Five Megillos. The Midrash, like the Talmud, is part of the Oral Law: it delves into the spiritual essence of the Torah, adds missing details of its narrative and carries the ethical tradition passed down from generation to generation. This compact size volume covers Yisro to Pekudei.
Each volume sets the newly typeset Hebrew text, with classic commentaries including Rashi, Matnos Kehunah, Eitz Yosef, Maharzu and Eshed HaNechalim, on pages facing ArtScroll's phrase by phrase English translation and elucidation. Explanatory footnotes clarify difficult passages, and an Insights section brings a contemporary focus to the Midrash.
