Faklen Bamboo Torch, 24 Inches
A bamboo-handled faklen made for a Hachnosas Sefer Torah procession. The 24-inch length keeps the flame well above head height and away from the person carrying it, and the torch is 100% dripless — no wax running down onto a hand or a sleeve over the course of a long walk.
It burns liquid lamp oil rather than wax. Fill it with about 6 oz of liquid paraffin and you get roughly an hour of burn time, which covers most processions with room to spare. Buy the oil separately and fill on site rather than transporting a filled torch.
