Shabbos Messages from the Parshah
Based on the Teachings of the Nesivos Sholom

The Gems from the Nesivos Sholom series has inspired countless readers with the deep, heartfelt teachings of the Slonimer Rebbe. With the publication of this twenty-second volume, Shabbos in the Parshah, a new light emerges. Unlike previous volumes that closely follow specific ma’amarim from the Nesivos Sholom, this sefer offers brief yet powerful reflections that uncover the connection between the weekly parshah and the holiness of Shabbos – as illuminated by the Rebbe’s thought. These insights are not mere intellectual exercises. They are spiritual signposts, rooted in the timeless words: ביני ובין בני ישראל אות הוא לעולם – Between Me and Bnei Yisroel it is an eternal sign. Shabbos is more than rest; it is our covenant, a weekly reunion with Hashem.

Drawing from themes found throughout Chumash and enriched by the soul-stirring language of the Nesivos Sholom, this volume reveals how Shabbos serves as a source of blessing – ויברך אלקים את יום השביעי – and a channel for spiritual rejuvenation. With each page, the reader is invited to rediscover Shabbos not only as a halachic observance, but as a wellspring of Divine intimacy, serenity, and boundless joy. These divrei Torah are meant to be revisited and relived, echoing the words of Chazal: כל המענג את השבת נותנים לו נחלה בלי מצרים – one who delights in Shabbos is granted a limitless inheritance.

Through uplifting insights and accessible language, Shabbos in the Parshah brings the warmth of Shabbos into your week, guiding you toward a deeper connection, spiritual serenity, and lasting inner joy. It is an invitation to pause, to breathe, and to encounter the eternal gift of Shabbos anew.

Have a great Shabbos.
