Glass 7-Day Memorial Candle
A full week of light from one candle. This seven-day memorial candle is the size families reach for during shiva, when the flame is meant to stay lit from the day of the levaya straight through the week without anyone having to replace it.
The vegetable oil is poured in Europe into a straight-sided glass tumbler. Oil burns cleaner than wax, with far less smoke and no dripping down the side of the glass, which matters when a candle sits on a table in the same room for seven days running.
Set it somewhere sheltered from drafts and away from curtains, and it will carry itself. If you need a shorter or longer burn, the same candle is stocked in three-day and nine-day sizes.
