Description
Ike Cohen of Virginia and Zolly Chaim of New York, grandsons of Solomon Chaim from Every Man A Slave, are close friends until the Civil War divides them in 1861. Sender Zeyv's 256-page hardcover follows how war and a mission of kindness bring them back together.
Gone West is the story of two cousins, grandsons of Solomon Chaim of Every Man A Slave, who are the best of friends for the first nineteen years of their lives. In 1861, the country is torn apart by the Civil War, a division that drives a wedge between cousins Ike Cohen, from Virginia, and Zolly Chaim, from New York. It takes the horrors of war to bring the two back together again. And it takes a providential mission of kindness to teach these young men what is truly important in life.
Gone West is an exciting historical saga of the Civil War and the Wild West adventure as only Sender Zeyv can tell it.
