Description
Old jewelry and loose beads were taken apart and rebuilt into the strand hanging beneath this lotus mandala, and the mandala itself is painted on both faces, so there is no back to hide. Strung on its cord, it turns a full circle and shows first one design, then the other.
It hangs well in a window or an open doorway where a draft keeps it moving and the crystal beads throw color onto the wall. Nothing about it repeats, since the salvaged pieces used are whatever came to hand.
