Real Bagel Ornament Preserved Half-Size Bagel Sealed in Shellac

My friend is a baker at the best bagel shop in town and when I told her of this crazy idea she said, "I'm in!" We had been toying with the idea for a while and though the process is long-it has made for a beautiful piece of preserved food ready to be turned into works of art. It started with us perfecting the process of forming half-sized bagels, dehydrating them, then having multiple coats of shellac to harden and solidify them. They have since been turned into Menorahs and Shabbat candle holders and last year we started offering a new edition to the bagel line- ornaments! They are light, easy to hang on the provided ribbon loop (or add your favorite decorative hook) and so darn cute! They look good enough to eat because they once were so make sure to keep these away from the young ones and your animals! These are hand formed so NOT perfect circles and full of character. Measurements are approximate as each bagel is unique. 3inches wide 2.5 inched long
