Description
Dark frosted glass takes paint differently than clear glass does, and that is the point of this trio. The frosting is etched, then hand-painted, so the design sits bright against a smoky ground rather than disappearing into it. The set covers Miriam, Elijah and the blessing over wine.
Brought out for the Seder and used again through Shabbos, the three glasses stand 6.5 inches tall and 2.5 inches wide and hold 9 ounces each. Painting is done one glass at a time, so slight shifts in the artwork between cups are normal.
