Healing Thoughts Rabbi Raphael Bernstein (Hardcover)

Nurturing emotional and physical wellness

Thoughts have the strength to build or destroy.

Medical research is only now discovering what Shlomo Hamelech taught us in Mishlei over 2,500 years ago—physical health is the result of a lev marpei, a healing mind.

As the “healer of the brokenhearted,” Hashem is the healer of emotions, and He shares His remedies with us in the form of Torah. Emotional and physical health result from understanding and internalizing the ways of Hashem, the complexity of human character, and what is expected of each of us during our lifetime.

Delving into topics from Torah and Chazal, Healing Thoughts reveals how the key to emotional health and well-being emerges from the wisdom within. By filtering our way of thinking through the restorative lens of Torah, we discover that the thoughts we draw from the Torah have the power to heal.

“It will bring much benefit to b’nei Torah interested in growing in the matters of Torah and yirah.”
