Hamsa Ornament Hand Painted Wood with Glitter and Acrylic Beads

The hamsa on this ornament carries an eye at the center of the palm, the old protective motif, worked in wood with stain and acrylic paint, glitter, vinyl and acrylic beads strung on wire. Nine versions are made, including clear acrylic in blue, purple and turquoise, a black background, a silver chai hamsa, and a stained laser-cut face.

It hangs from a hook, a shelf, a window latch or a doorknob, and it goes up for Chanukah in a lot of homes and then simply stays where it is.
