- Once upon a time, a chossid spent the whole month of Tishrei with his teacher, who was very wise and kind, known as the Rebbe of Karlin. When he came back home, people asked him how things went while he was away. He said, "The days didn't just pass - oh no- they didn't pass by like normal days, they became a part of me!" This means he felt so happy and connected that the special feeling stayed with him. And now, he planned to use this happy feeling in his life for the rest of the year.
- Imagine Tishrei as a special time when we charge up our superpowers of doing mitzvahs and feeling close to Hashem. We carry that happy feeling with us every day for the rest of the year, just like when you plug your toy into the wall and it gets supercharged! In the same way, our hearts and connection to Hashem get filled up with special energy!
