Lehodos Ulehallel Tabbed Tefillos & Tehillim, Blue Faux Leather Hardcover #241

Blue faux leather over a hard cover, 320 pages, 4.5 by 6.5 inches — a single sefer that holds tefillos and bakashos, birchas hashachar and a Tehillim Mechulak. The blue is the workhorse colour of the four this #241 binding comes in, and it is the one most boys and men pick when the sefer is going to be used rather than displayed.

The point of it is the tabs. Everything inside is tabbed, so the Tehillim Mechulak for a particular day, or birchas hashachar, or the bakasha you want, opens at a thumb instead of a hunt through 320 pages. Anyone who has tried to find a kapitel quickly with a room full of people waiting knows exactly what that saves. Choose Ashkenaz or Eduth Mizrach when ordering, so the nusach matches the way you actually daven.

At this size it slides into a tallis and tefillin bag alongside the tefillin, or sits in a coat pocket for a long trip. It is the kind of sefer that ends up being bought two and three at a time — one for the house, one for the car, one for a bochur going away.
