Description
Design #211 in its one-sided printing: eight lucite benchers, side-opening, 9.5 by 9.5, gold or silver. Printing a single face keeps each panel visually clean — you read one page at a time with nothing showing through from behind — and it is the version to take if you find double-sided cards busy to look at. The side-opening construction holds its shape in one hand.
Nusach applies to the whole set, so decide between Ashkenaz and Eduth Mizrach before ordering. Eight is the standard count. At full size the type is generous, which matters at a table where the person bentsching sits at one end and the guests are strung out along the other.
A matching bencher cover is made in the #211 design. That pairing is the practical argument for this number: the cards go into the cover after the meal, the cover sits on the sideboard, and nothing goes missing between one Friday night and the next.
