Torah perspectives on personalities, episodes and periods in Jewish history, continued now in a seventh volume.

By volume 7 the series has become a small library of its own, and this installment adds another 392 hardcover pages of Rabbi David Cohen's treatment of the figures, events and eras that shaped Klal Yisrael, always with an eye to what they demand of the reader now.

A later volume like this one tends to be bought by someone who is already committed, either a reader completing the run or a family buying for a father or father-in-law who has the earlier books. If you have never opened the series, any volume can be read on its own, but the earlier ones are the gentler introduction.
