Making It Work: A Practical Guide to Halachah in the Workplace, Revised Edition Ari Wasserman (Hardcover)

A practical guide to halachah in the workplace

“I wish I would have known what to do…”

Along with its many opportunities, the workplace presents constant and ever-changing challenges for the frum Jew. Making It Work helps readers meet those challenges.

In this newly revised and expanded version of Making It Work — based on Chazal and full of real-life anecdotes and experiences — you’ll discover how to deal with situations such as business meetings in non-kosher restaurants, shaking hands with the opposite gender, social gatherings and holiday parties, personal use of office supplies, restrictions of yichud, family responsibilities, setting aside time to learn, Minchah during the workday, and more.

“Certainly deals with the issues that face many people in the workplace.”

Rabbi Yissocher Frand, Rosh Yeshivah, Yeshivas Ner Israel

“Essential for our times … these questions arise daily for tens of thousands of Jews who work for their livelihood in many professions.”

Rav Asher Weiss, Rosh Kollel, Machon Minchas Asher

“A beautiful blend of halachah, hashkafah, mussar, and fascinating stories…wonderfully written b’tuv taam.”

Rav Hershel Schachter, Rosh Yeshivah and Rosh Kollel, RIETS, Yeshiva University
