Description
The Linear Tiered Kearah is a two-level piece: six labelled compartments set into a removable lid, and beneath it a full lower tier for the matzos. All lucite, with geometric gold detailing and the Arba Leshonos of Geulah inscribed around the sides, it stands 15.5 by 15.5 by 8 inches — a structure on the table rather than a plate on it. Magnetic doors close the lower tier and the shelves inside are embroidered leather.
What that arrangement solves is the traffic problem at a Seder. The simanim stay in their labelled places on top and do not get shuffled or guessed at; the matzos sit below in their own tier, reachable without lifting the kearah or disturbing anything on it. The removable lid means the whole top comes off in one motion when the plate has to be raised or cleared.
This is the gold version, and it is made in the same design as haggadah covers, matzah covers and tallis and tefillin bags — a full Pesach table under one design number. It is a serious piece, usually bought for a first Seder in a new home or as a significant chosson gift.
