Description
A child's Sefer Torah in a velvet mantle, with the box measuring 13.5 by 5.25 inches. The scroll inside is printed with writing from the Chumash, so what a child unrolls is genuine text rather than decorative squiggles, and it rolls on two atzei chaim exactly the way the real thing does.
Children learn how a Sefer Torah works by handling one, and a real one is not available to them. This is the size a boy can lift, carry around a room in a hakafah, open, roll from one side to the other and put away himself. The velvet cover comes off and goes back on, which is half the entertainment and also how he learns what a mantle is for.
