Kids Sefer Torah Deluxe, 15 Inch Maroon or Blue Velvet Cover

The deluxe fifteen inch version, with the box measuring roughly 15.5 by 8 inches and the scroll printed with real pesukim from Chumash. It is offered in two velvet colours, maroon and blue, both of them the colours a mantle is actually made in, which is part of why it reads as a real Sefer Torah to a child rather than a toy.

Pick the colour by what the child sees in his own shul, since that is the reference he is working from. Maroon and blue are the two most common mantle colours in an Ashkenazi shul and either one will look right to him. The larger size and the fuller finish are what separate the deluxe from the thirteen inch model.

Real pesukim on the scroll mean it grows with the boy. At three he carries it; at five he opens it and recognises words; at seven he finds the pesukim he has learned.
